Role: 
At The HUB, our Bartenders have a well-rounded knowledge of the venue's bar book. Bartenders maintain a clean and appealing bar area, display exceptional guest service, responsibly handle financial transactions, and have full knowledge of beverages, food, and all activations The HUB offers. 1+ years of bartending experience is strongly preferred. 
 
Requirements:  
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills. 
  • Available to work any shift and all holidays. 
  • Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task. 
  • Basic math and computer skills. 
  • Ability to make change. 
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.  
  • Have knowledge of beer/ wine/ and spirits 
  • Knowledgeable of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures. 
  • 1+ years of bartending experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service.  
  • Maintain current Food Handlers certification and TABC for the duration of employment. 
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local food hygiene standards. 
Physical Requirements:  
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time within OSHA and state requirements. 
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs. 
  • Close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift to 50 lbs. 
  • Work with moderate to loud noise level. 
  • Slip resistant shoes required. 
Tasks: 
  • Listen and repeat guest orders for accuracy. 
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in workstations and guest facing areas. 
  • Suggestively upsell menu items. 
  • Responsible for cash handling of assigned drawer. 
  • Build drinks quickly and accurately.  
  • Follow all The Hub’s safety & operational checklists, including opening and closing. 
  • Provide world-class hospitality to bar guests.
